2024 August, I watched a few videos of this procedure. I was wondering if there are any special tools needed. Almost every one used a universal socket adapter. So, I put my fiancé 1999 Toyota Tacoma 4wd up on the stand. After looking the situation over, I took off the bracket that holds the exhaust flange to the transmission housing and had total and free access to the starter mount bolts. Didn't need a universal adapter or anything. Stop making so much work for yourself! I did the whole thing in 1 hour, and took my time doing it!

guys buy the tool for the piston is less the 30 bucks and do the job in 5 minutes you dont have to push the just turn clockwise and the tool do everything

What inner tube did you use, I'm only finding 14 X 2.125 on amazon, no 3 inchers?

Any issues with light adhesive coming loose in spots so far? (like at thr curves). Sometimes included light adhesive isn't very good in my experience and I have to add some aftermarket tape as well.

Awesome. How's the tape adhesive holding up? I find many led light strip included adhesive start to peel off and fall off. So I also ad aftermarket 3M double sided tape as well then also duct tape it on front but then it looks ugly.

Some of these have a straight end and only one curved end. Do you know if the curved end goes forward or back? I think i've seen them both ways.

I find compared to my OG Sherman which has a Sauron seat on top. The Sherman sitting position is worse since the pedals are higher up so my knees are more cramped and I also have this upgrade seat which is still kind of hard. Thinking of maybe going the DIY route and adding a thicker seat to raise me up with more cushioning. Have you added a yoga block or something on top?

Mine just broke as I was filling my fluid up, little pinhole..damn good 21 year old plastic though!

I would be scared riding at that speed without pads to connect me to the top of the wheel, honestly that trolley handle is the biggest negative to a wheel that is refreshingly clean looking otherwise.

Can the trolley rails pop out without tearing down the wheel at all? I'm trying to replace mine, but can't figure out the trick. So far just wiggling isn't working, but maybe I need to tear down and loosen something up. 🤔 Do you have a link to the video you're talking about?

I'm still new to EUC with less than 100 miles on my Inmotion V12 Pro. I get wobbles pretty consistently when I reach a certain speed. That speed has gradually increased from 15mph to 20mph, and now it's more like 22-23 and creeping toward 25mph. When it happens I just slow down, and I find I need to slow to a speed way below the speed where the wobbles start. There's a bit in this video where you start to get some wobbles "in the mid-30's" and I'm just wondering what you do to counter it. In some other clips it looks like you're going that fast again and not really worrying about it. I'm trying to figure out what I need to do to get the V12 Pro up in the 30-35mph range without developing the wobbles. Would I be faster on a larger diameter or heavier wheel? What's actually causing the wobbles?

I keep slime with me on longer rides ... just in case. It is only so useful anyway. They have more $$$ stuff that has some material in it to block slightly bigger holes , but in general anything bigger than a nail or small screw you will praying to the tube jebus it holds. it really is only ment to get you home so you can replace the tube haha. Those that will say they have been ridding on a slime fixed tube for millions of miles......you used to much , and rewatch this vid. yours is 10X worse HAHAHA Good vid Duff.

I'm a big fan of having a proper air tank in the garage. Remove the valve core and you can seat any of these tires easily. Regarding the zip tie trick, i know the dirt bike guys will sometime use C clamps to get the beads to touch while they secure the zipties. Armordilloz and flat out seem to be very very similar products. I switched over to flat out as it's significantly more cost effective. Good video journey, hope you don't need to do that again anytime soon!

Waterproof clothing can have the coating wear off after a while. You should buy something called Nikwax tech wash. It will restore the waterproofing. Also just did this kind of ride on my V14 albeit it was light rain. Def don't recommend lol. Hopefully I won't have bearing issues

I love my MTen3 but the tire could never hold me - plenty strong motor but the tire would not keep me up for too long at 235lbs (16.5 stone). There are gray rubber tires of solid foam made for mobility and agriculture applications, I haven't sourced any of them yet but it seems ones that will fit are out there. I think there's a point in any use case where you find advantages when your wheel has little or no air, or even solid core (more esk8 but you get it). I've seen enough of those little gray tires on stuff I've used and they're always nice and springy, just right for deforming to rough surfaces but don't great too much performance issue on smoother surfaces. Thanks for putting this up, I will be referring back to it when I finally crack mine open. Still runs great ;-) and it fits in my current backpack nicely. 😀I want to be able to be the guy when someone breaks/drains their wheel who pulls the baby wheel out with indestructible tire on it and says "I was preparing for this very moment". lol

Sometimes You Tube changes controls! It used to be easy to see the volume. Now today I can’t seem to find It! I took my headphone plug out, turned up volume switch on iPad 9 and STILL no volume! I tried clicking on some things within frame and they show for only 1 second.

Is any product better than another from a drying out over time prospective? IMHO, it all dries out over time if not replenished, if it didn't dry out it couldn't plug a hole.
